Gejala lainnya, sulit distart, back fire (nembak), kick starter balik keras, dan ogah stationer. Ini terjadi lantaran timing pengapiannya nggak tepat. Piston sudah naik 20 derajat sebelum TMA, tapi busi belum menembak juga. Timing magnet tidak pas, sehingga perintah sepul pengapian untuk mengirim arus listrik ke CDI telat. Untuk mengatasinya, mekanik biasa memajukan waktu pengapian. Posisi timing magnet di poros kruk-as wajib diubah. Bergesernya sekitar 15 derajat (berlawanan arah jarum jam) dari posisi Top (T) standar yang tertera di magnet. Untuk menggeser magnet, spi penahan harus dilepas dan baut pengikat dikencangkan lebih kuat. Kalau mau lebih presisi, silakan gunakan timing light.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Menggunakan CDI pakai pulser memang bisa stationer. Tapi sobat juga harus cari tahu derajat waktu pengapian untuk penempatan pulser. Kalau salah ya percuma juga. Sebaliknya, bila posisi magnet buat CDI RC100 tepat, mesin bakal stationer dengan mulus.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Kalau penempatan magnet belum tepat, mau dibawa ke bengkel manapun percuma. Mending benahi dulu pengapiannya seperti cara di atas. Bensin 1 liter terpakai 10 km. Coba mengganti isi karburator, tenaganya drop dan cuk harus ditarik. Padahal posisi jarum skep pada klip paling bawah. Tak lama ganti karbu baru, hasilnya sama walau cuk tidak dinaikkan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Kondisi sekarang, piston oversize 50, busi dan CDI baru serta aki bagus. Nah, gimana agar Win bisa irit lagi? &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;p  style="text-align: left;font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Jawab :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p  style="text-align: left;font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Mestinya motor sampeyan, meminum, 1 liter untuk menembus 50-60 km. Penyebabnya, klip jarum skep terlalu mati-matian diturunkan. Untuk apa jarum skep diangkat, jika tidak dibarengi modifikasi yang lain?Ini membuat bahan bakar kian boros. Ingat, menurunkan satu klip ulir jarum skep, sama dengan membesarkan 3 step spuyer. Karburator makin deras memompa bahan bakar. Knalpot sampeyan pasti dibarengi asap hitam. Artinya, masih ada gas bakar mentah yang tidak ikut terbakar. Itu tandanya terlalu kaya bahan bakar&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Jika asap ini nihil, ada bau bensin dan perih di mata. Ini karena jarum skep tadi. Juga, karburator kotor atau spuyer terlalu besar Coba kembalikan posisi jarum skep pada standarnya.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Pemakaian piston oversize 50 dengan alasan menaikkan posisi jarum skep, tidak masuk akal. Mestinya hanya spuyer yang dibesarkan satu step. Itu pun, hanya pilot jet.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Jika tidak bertenaga dan cuk harus ditutup, berarti memang dari posisi jarum skep itu. Atau silakan dicek sambungan leher angsa dengan karburator Jangan-jangan bocor udara yang gampang nyelonong itu memaksa cuk difungsikan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Ganti jeroan karbu jangan sembarangan. Lihat dulu ukuran spuyer yang mau dipasang dan posisi jarum skepnya. Ini berisiko tenaga ngedrop akibat pasokan bensin terlalu irit atau malah berlebihan. Apalagi jeroannya palsu, semakin kacau setelannya. Ganti saja motornya dengan yang berkapasitas besar. Se, se, se, bercanda, kok. Paling membantu ya pilot-jet, silakan diperbesar satu step. Pilot-jet Win 40, boleh ganti 42,5 atau 45. Silakan juga diimbangi penggantian sproket belakang. Pakai yang lebih kecil dua mata. Memang, akselerasinya lebih lambat, tapi napasnya panjang.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Karbu GL- 100 venturinya 22, pilot-jet serta main-jet 40/98. Sedang Win ventunnya 18 pakai pilot-jet 40 dan main-jet 98. Intinya, cuma beda ukuran venturi. Ini kurang manjur jika masih memakai intake-manifold atau leher angsa Win. Debit bensin dan udara dari karbu tetap sama ke ruang silinder. Dia membentur leher angsa sempit. Kalau mau, leher angsanya diperbesar atau direamer. Jangan lupa ganti knalpot racing, agar pemasukan dan pengeluaran seimbang!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Jawaban nomor satu dan nomor dua dengan solusi yang ente tanyakan. Ada beberapa hal yang ingin ditanyakan seputar Honda Karisma 2003.&lt;br /&gt;Motor digeber di atas 70 km/jam, kenapa mesin ada suara ker.ker.. Apa setiap Karisma seperti itu atau memang setingan pabrik? &lt;p style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Jawab :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Semua motor baru yang dirancang pabrik, mestinya nggak boleh menimbulkan suara kasar kecuali dari knalpot. Cuma masalahnya, suara di mesin Karisma milik anda tepatnya ada di bagian mana. Apa di kepala silinder, silinder, rantai keteng atau bagian kruk-as. Daripada menerka nggak keruan dan malah salah, mending bawa aja ke bengkel resmi terdekat. Apalagi motor ini masih garansi. Eh jangan salah, CDI Honda Karisma ada limiternya. Kalau putaran mesin mencapai 8000 rpm, mesin mbrebet dan ada suara mirip kerrrr… Memastikannya coba tes Karisma teman lainnya. Kalau ganti busi racing bagus nggak? Katanya kalau busi racing cuma tahan 6 bulan? &lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Jawab :&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Sepertinya nggak masalah pakai busi standar kalau cuma habis korter silinder Selama motor yang sobat pakai tidak lebih banyak atau sering dipakai ngebut. Sebab karakter busi racing cenderung dingin. Ini untuk mengantisipasi suhu panas mesin tinggi akibat sering digeber. Makanya di motor balap yang mesinnya bergasing tinggi dan lebih panas cocok adopsi busi racing.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Nah, kalau motor standar pakai busi racing bukannya nggak bisa.
